What They Say.

“From touring with him, I gained new insights and was enriched in ways I hadn’t experienced during previous trips to my country of origin, whether or not I was visiting a spot for the first time with Bryan.”
Where to begin about Bryan?! I’ll start at the end, with the key takeaway: Hire him.
A first-generation Filipino immigrant who was raised in the US, I am a six-time Balikbayan. I treasure fond memories from childhood of my grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles enjoying our time together, not just in Manila but also in Pampanga and Tarlac, the home provinces of my parents.
I returned to the Philippines with 7 other American relatives for a family reunion in summer 2023, when Bryan led us on two tours—one in Manila and the other in Pampanga and Tarlac. Both were highlights of this trip of a lifetime. We were impressed by Bryan’s extensive knowledge of Philippine history, keen insight into Filipino culture, and broad familiarity with appealing places and experiences in the Philippines. From touring with him, I gained new insights and was enriched in ways I hadn’t experienced during previous trips to my country of origin, whether or not I was visiting a spot for the first time with Bryan.
From initial inquiry to our final farewells, Bryan proved to be a consummate professional, superb communicator, and engaging travel guide. He customized our tours based on our interests in history, culture, cuisine, and locations with special family significance. The tour schedule—which Bryan arranged to include safe, comfortable transportation—was also meticulously planned. And, it was well executed—no easy feat because it required real-time adjustment for Manila traffic or the fact that our group ranged in age from 4 to 80+ years!
All this, and Bryan’s winsome personality too. We were delighted that he accepted our invitation to lunch in our home.
I recommend Bryan without reservation. It would be my pleasure and good fortune to tour with him again in the future.

“A trip with Bryan has always combined culture, history and delicious food. You will leave with a greater appreciation of Filipino culture and history that will stick with you for many years after.”
I was Bryan’s first tour client when he started his career! And to this day I am not only still his client but a good friend. As a frequent traveler to the Philippines, there were still many places I had not visited. On my last trip in September 2024, we planned a trip to Taal. I’m a foodie and read about all the great restaurants around the Lake. I was not disappointed with the restaurant selection Bryan chose. Great Filipino food and spectacular views of the the unique Volcanic lake and landscape.
We also stopped in Batangas where we visited the home of the most renowned Balisong maker, the late Dado Ona. It was an unexpected visit to see his historic shop, meet his daughter, purchase one of his famous blades and see some friends from California who were also there filming a documentary!
We also visited the historic Taal town where a friend of Bryan, provided a very detailed history of Batangas and its role in the Revolution. A trip with Bryan has always combined culture, history and delicious food. You will leave with a greater appreciation of Filipino culture and history that will stick with you for many years after.— Mel

“Bryan seemed to know the right connections everywhere we went, he had answers/solutions for everything and he made sure every tiny detail was covered without it looking like much effort, though we know his job entails a great deal.”
I attended a 12 day adventure in the Philippines with 11 strangers in April 2024 and we were fortunate to have Bryan as our tour leader. His fun and outgoing personality created group cohesion and camaraderie almost immediately. Bryan had a way of including everyone, all while telling jokes, participating in our group shenanigans, and executing the trip itinerary flawlessly.
Bryan seemed to know the right connections everywhere we went, he had answers/solutions for everything and he made sure every tiny detail was covered without it looking like much effort, though we know his job entails a great deal. It's obvious Bryan loves what he does and I had a 100% stress-free, unforgettable time.

“I’m endlessly fascinated with this sort of geographical part of the world.
You know, a lot of this is strangely familiar and yet all new.”
